The following information provides an overview of our processing of personal data and your rights under data protection law. You can find out below the details of which data is processed and how it is used.

2. Sources and data subject to processing
We process personal data that we receive from you as an interested party, customer or applicant.
3. Purpose of data processing and its legal basis
We process the aforementioned personal data in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG new):
a.) For the fulfillment of contractual obligations
Personal data is processed for the performance of work in the context of implementing our contracts with our customers and for the implementation of precontractual measures (e.g. offers, email, newsletter, applications).
If you use our forms on our website to transmit your data, the data will be transmitted using SSL encryption. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 (a) of the GDPR.
If you sign up for our newsletter, your email address will be saved after completing the double opt-in process. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 (a) of the GDPR.
You can delete your email address (unsubscribe from the newsletter) via a direct link in the newsletter. We have concluded a job data agreement with our newsletter provider MailChimp. MailChimp, Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA, sends the newsletter on our behalf. When you open a newsletter, a file contained in the newsletter (known as a web beacon) connects to MailChimp’s servers in the USA. This provides information about whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. This is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of our newsletter campaigns.

Where necessary, we process your data beyond the actual fulfillment of the contract to protect our or third-party legitimate interests. This includes data processing by our providers. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 (f) of the GDPR.

Web analysis with Matomo
This website uses the open source web analysis service Matomo. With the help of Matomo, we collect data about the use of the website. If you have given your consent to this via the cookies, the data is processed exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG.
5. Job applications
If you apply on our website via our form or use the e-mail address bewerbung@pec-group.com, the applicant data will be transferred to our data processor Personio SE & Co. KG, 80335 Munich, Germany.
We have concluded an order data contract with Personio SE & Co. KG under a contract data processing agreement. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(a) and (f) of the GDPR.
If you apply via StepStone or LinkedIn, the applicant data that you enter on StepStone or LinkedIn will also be transferred to our data processor Personio SE & Co. KG, 80335 Munich, Germany.
In all cases, applicant data is processed using the Personio software from Personio SE & Co. KG software. Applicant data will be deleted when the purpose of the storage is no longer given (rejection of the application), but at the latest after the legal requirements of six months.
6. Your rights
Every data subject has the right to information under Article 15 GDPR, the right to rectification under Article 16 GDPR, the right to erasure under Article 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR, the right to object under Article 21 GDPR and the right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR.
The restrictions pursuant to Sections 34 and 35 BDSG (new) apply with regard to the right to information and the right to erasure. You may withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. This also applies to the withdrawal of declarations of consent that were given to us before the General Data Protection Regulation came into effect, i.e. before May 25, 2018.
